The Furniture Department

The Furniture Department of the Blue Bird Circle Resale Shop offers an extensive array of items ranging from antiques and collectibles to inexpensive furniture for the student apartment or first home.  In addition to furniture, the Shop also carries decorative items and art work, cookware and utensils, draperies, rugs, dishes, china, silver, crystal, lamps and light fixtures.

Our shop is full of beautiful, unique items that have been donated or consigned for sale in the shop, proceeds of which fund the work of The Blue Bird Circle.

About Consigning Items

Thank you for considering consigning your furnishings through The Blue Bird Circle Resale Shop. Items accepted for consignment must be clean and in good repair.  Click on ‘Furniture Consignment Requirements’ for more information on items that are accepted.

The Shop receives furniture consignments from 10:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Tuesday – Wednesday -Thursday and from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.   Consignments are accepted once every 30 days in one trip only.

The minimum consignment contract value is $50.00, and the price for each item in the consignment must be at least $5.00. A contract and a detailed list of items being consigned must accompany each consignment.

Estate Donations or Consignment

For additional information about consigning or donating furniture to The Blue Bird Circle Resale Shop or to arrange for the consignment or donation of an estate, call 713-528-0470 and ask for furniture receiving.

The Blue Bird Circle Resale Shop is located at 615 W. Alabama, Houston, Texas 77006. We are open 10-4 Monday through Friday and 10-2 on Saturday.
