Easter Baskets

The Easter Basket Project was one of the first undertaken by The Blue Bird Circle and has become a tradition not only for the Circle but for the community as well. The project is truly a labor of love and joy for the many volunteers who participate. The baskets are available a few weeks before Easter each year at The Blue Bird Circle Resale Shop, both Bering’s locations, Rice Epicurean Stores, and Gorman’s Cleaners. They cost $15 + tax.

The Blue Bird Circle

In 1923, in Houston, Texas, a unique organization of women volunteers was created to promote the well-being of humanity through the betterment of the community. Ninety years later the charitable and benevolent activities of The Blue Bird Circle are pledged to the support of The Blue Bird Circle Clinic for Pediatric Neurology, The Blue Bird Circle Developmental Neurogenetics Laboratory at Baylor College of Medicine, The Blue Bird Circle Clinical Research Center, and The Blue Bird Circle Rett Center.
