Blue Birds are required to complete a specified number of volunteer hours each year. In addition to work at the Clinic or in the shop. Blue Birds earn hours through working on a wide range of projects and special events throughout the year.

The Blue Bird Circle

In 1923, in Houston, Texas, a unique organization of women volunteers was created to promote the well-being of humanity through the betterment of the community. Ninety years later the charitable and benevolent activities of The Blue Bird Circle are pledged to the support of The Blue Bird Circle Clinic for Pediatric Neurology, The Blue Bird Circle Developmental Neurogenetics Laboratory at Baylor College of Medicine, The Blue Bird Circle Clinical Research Center, and The Blue Bird Circle Rett Center.
