About The Blue Bird Circle

Originally founded in 1923 to help children who were vicitims of polio, The Blue Bird Circle has since turned its focus to childrens’ neurological disorders. In 1923, in Houston, Texas, a unique organization of women volunteers was created to promote the well-being of humanity through the betterment of the community. Ninety years later the charitable and benevolent activities of The Blue Bird Circle are pledged to the support of The Blue Bird Circle Clinic for Pediatric Neurology, The Blue Bird Circle Developmental Neurogenetics Laboratory at Baylor College of Medicine, The Blue Bird Circle Clinical Research Center, and The Blue Bird Circle Rett Center.
