About The Blue Bird Circle

The year 1923, in Houston, Texas, was the beginning of a unique organization of women volunteers banding together to promote the well-being of humanity through the betterment of the community.  The charitable and benevolent activities of its members are pledged to the support of The Blue Bird Circle Clinic for Pediatric Neurology, The Blue Bird Circle Developmental Neurogenetics Laboratory and The Blue Bird Circle Rett Center.

Through the work of dedicated Circle members, the generous support of Circle donors and the Houston community, the Circle provides in excess of $1,000,000 each year in support of the Clinic, the Laboratory and the Rett Center.   In addition to raising these funds, Circle members contribute over 100,000 volunteer hours annually at the Clinic, the Resale Shop and in fund raising activities. Our shop is open 10-4 M-F and 10-2 on Saturdays.
